  The invention of the printing .In the past printing was slower than today and much more complicated   ,Books were written by hand making them rare and expensive  Copyist writing on a sheet of Vellum, 15th Century    wood cut printing already it was there in China during the tang dynasty in the 7th century and continued to be most popular method in east Asia for multiple things until 19th   I n the, 1300s and 1400s, people started printing using wooden blocks.they used letter and  pictures into the blocks, dipped them in ink, and pressed them onto paper.
